From a young age, Indian classical dance has been a big part of my life. I have learned Bharatanatyam from the age of 4 and started Mohiniyattam at 7 years old. I completed my Arangetram (dance graduation) in July of 2022 and was also given the opportunity to showcase the art form at places such as Carnegie Hall and Disney World. I was a student dance teacher for 4 years as well, teaching children from ages 5-10. Throughout high school, I was also an active member of my high school's show choir.

At UC, I am involved in UC SAASA and COM Tribunal. I also decided to continue my passion for Indian classical dance at UC by starting a club called Laya, and I am the co-captain for it!
